The government of Canada's Employment and Development department is
responsible for processing the LMIA applications and is currently
experiencing a high number of Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
applications. When applying for your LMIA application one should always
keep in mind that as of September 2021 there are longer processing times
for some streams of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).

(LMIA) processing times for September 2021 across all processing
centres in Canada:
Talent Stream and applications that qualify for expedited service have a
service standard of 10-business days that is expected to be met 80% of
the time. The service standard date starts on the business day after the
application has been received.
It is highly recommended by Service Canada
that you submit your applications electronically using the LMIA Online
portal. To access LMIA Online, an employer and a third party (if
applicable) must have a valid Job Bank user account for authentication
