Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for 'Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam
2020-21' on its Website. The exam is scheduled to be on 21 February 2021. All
the candidates who have applied for UPSC CGSE 2020 Exam are requested to
download the exam schedule from the official UPSC website - https://upsc.gov.in
As per the latest notice issued by
UPSC the exam will be held in two time-slots on 21st February 2021. All the
candidates are required to report to the exam venue by 08:00 AM. The first exam
will start at 09:30 AM and the second exam will start at 02:00 PM.
The Preliminary examination will be held at the following Centers: AHMEDABAD, BENGALURU, BHOPAL, CHANDIGARH, CHENNAI, CUTTACK, DELHI, DISPUR, HYDERABAD, JAIPUR, JAMMU, KOLKATA, LUCKNOW, MUMBAI, PATNA, PRAYAGRAJ (ALLAHABAD), SHILLONG, SHIMLA, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

Candidates who will pass this computer-based preliminary examination will be allowed to take the Combined
Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination on 17th & 18th July 2021 at Bhopal,
Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Shimla.
