Job Description

Hatch is seeking a Civil EIT with interest in civil engineering. Reporting to the Director of Linear Infrastructure you will support offices globally working from our Oakville office.

Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will provide support to our water/wastewater linear infrastructure team to

    • Develop water/wastewater linear infrastructure plan and profile drawings, along with other civil drawings using CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD)
    • Perform design calculations (Watermain/Sewer Hydraulics);
    • Provide project coordination support
    • Prepare Technical Reports and Memos

Education and Experience:

  • Must be working towards graduating in 2022, or recently graduated, with an Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university
  • Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices
  • Strong computer skills including demonstrated experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
  • Work term experience in a design office completing design assignments for water/wastewater linear infrastructure projects
  • Hydraulics and design knowledge
