As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you are an integral part of the Hatch digital team of passionate people who are creating and transforming the design and vision of various products into seamless and engaging user experiences. You will support the strategic design of user focused experiences throughout the entire design lifecycle. You will collaborate with clients, subject matter experts, scrum teams and other stakeholders to help turn business requirements, user needs and creative strategy into user-centered, effective, intuitive, & visually appealing products.

As the successful candidate, you will:
Champion the user throughout the entire design process. You are an ambitious person who understands the importance of exceptional user experiences to the success of a product.
Participate in and lead UX activities such as user/design research, stakeholder interviews and workshops.
Identify new product opportunities and analyze their desirability, viability, and feasibility.
Create and effectively present UX artifacts (journeys, sketches, wireframes, journey maps, service blueprints low and mid-fidelity renderings, clickable prototypes, storyboards, etc.) to stakeholders, clients, and teams.
Conduct usability testing and participate in design reviews.
Work closely with the development team to build SaaS products for market while maintaining UX best practices.
Stay current on emerging trends in user-centered methodologies, accessibility, UI design patterns, usability principles, and technology.
You bring to the role:
5+ years as a UX and/or Product Design experience.
The ability to approach challenges with an open mind and be a strong conceptual/creative thinker.
The ability to demonstrate an obsession with craft and the micro-interactions that make experiences unique and memorable.
Strong experience executing design artifacts such as customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes and interactions and understand the importance of visual design.
Experience with applying design methodologies to several products and experiences.
Previously worked within an agile environment.
Strong experience leading exploratory design workshops and summarizing the session into insights that will guide concepts and feature sets.
Strong proficiency in tools such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC or other visual design and prototyping tools.
Experience working with or developing design systems.
Solid understanding of accessibility best practices, and an ability to create accessible products.
