About the Role:
The House of Commons Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is currently looking to staff the Security Project Manager position.
The Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security assumes a ceremonial role; ensures efficient management of communications and information provided by the SAA-CS; maintains an effective liaison with clients, partners and the general public; manages the Memorial Chamber.
The Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is responsible for providing critical corporate management services (e.g. leading strategic, business, financial, human resources and operational planning; monitoring, evaluation, policy coordination and oversight) and acts as a corporate change agent to continuously enhance the SAA-CS’s business performance and management practices.
The Security Project Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of all security components associated with various mission-critical, high impact and high visibility projects within the House of Commons planning, construction, and renovation programs; providing security direction for all phases of the projects as the security specialist on a multidisciplinary team, and acting as Security Services’ User Group Representative.
The incumbent of the position could be subject to travel throughout Canada in order to conduct a variety of risk assessments and provide recommendations accordingly.

**Please note that as part of this team, it is expected that employees will be required to come onsite a minimum of three days a week or more upon requirements.
