Greet customers including answering phones, provide clients with the highest level of customer service, demonstrated through a courteous demeanor, and outstanding service.
Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or standardized instructions, following approved procedures.
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages as well as pre-prepared offerings.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain food preparation and serving areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, refrigeration, and another kitchen equipment.
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
Know and comply consistently with “The Irving” standards (portion sizes, cooking methods, quality), policies and procedures.
Handle, store, and rotate all food products and supplies according to “The Irving” policies and procedures.
Keep records of the quantities of food used and inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.
Wash, mix, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
