Job Description

Enbridge is delighted to welcome a Supervisor Maintenance Services onto the team! While in this role you will be responsible for leading field technicians in the safe and reliable maintenance of all pipeline and terminal assets in the Edmonton Area. You will be a key member of the area leadership team, which will focus on personal safety, process safety, environmental stewardship, and effective maintenance for asset reliability. What you will do:

  • Coordinate the safe and reliable mechanical maintenance of all pipeline and terminal assets in the Edmonton Area

  • Empower, encourage, and support field technicians to ensure work is completed with a high level of integrity and quality.

  • Provide leadership and support of a strong safety culture reinforcing Our Path to Zero.

  • Develops employees through training, career development, and performance management.

  • Ensure appropriate identification, planning, scheduling, and prioritization of maintenance work activities.

  • Establish annual performance goals for field technicians that align with our values and strategic priorities.

  • Responsibility as On Call Supervisor within the rotational on call schedule (approximately 1 week on call, every 6 weeks)

  • Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5 year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire

Who you are:

  • Related university degree and seven-plus years’ experience OR nine‐plus years of previous field operations/industrial maintenance experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of effective maintenance practices (preventative, corrective, predictive, condition based, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to adapt and be flexible to constantly evolving demands, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Intuitive judgement abilities, and sound decision-making skills.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo).

  • Trade Certificate / Technical Diploma related to Electrical or Mechanical (Industrial) preferred.

  • Previous leadership experience considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Edmonton on a Monday to Friday schedule.

  • Field office environment with frequent time spent in the work areas.

  • Travel is required, primarily to remote stations. Travel is estimated at less than 10% of the time within Canada and United States.
