Provide leadership and day-to-day management of a team of software developers, technology professionals, and analysts located in Calgary
Ensure delivery of Information technology solutions and sustainable support for the CGTM Business functions and processes
Effectively engage, collaborate, and assert recommendations with the Business, TIS and other subject matter experts within Enbridge to address their concerns and add value to projects and the business
Provide mentorship, coaching and formal leadership to team members to provide an enabled and empowered environment with a focus on relationships, business engagement and delivery of business benefits
Lead the executing, sustaining and adoption of sophisticated and robust programs/projects in alignment with the technology roadmaps
Responsible for alignment between business objectives and technological capabilities
Jointly develop multiyear technology roadmaps aligned with Enbridge’s overall Strategic Priorities, TIS’s Strategic Imperatives and Safety and Reliability strategy, and collaborate with leaders to develop Long-Range Plans and the associated TIS capital and operational budget & resources
Minimum eigth years (8+) years of experience in Information Technology area focused on development and sustainment of IT applications and systems
2-3 years of experience in a leadership role working directly with clients or customers with a delivery focus
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Solid understanding and domain knowledge IT systems, and prior hands-on technology experience as an IT application developer or architect with proficiency in modern programming languages, software development frameworks, web portals and relational databases
Understanding of Application Development Lifecycle as well as supporting software, operating systems, and secure coding
Ability to direct application teams to apply skills and techniques to tackle dynamic and complex problems, and provide solutions for critical business decisions
Exhibits excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, organization, and leadership skills, coupled with the ability to establish relationships and bring people together
Experienced in leveraging modern technologies including Cloud infrastructure to sustain and position business applications for optimal value proposition and cost efficiencies
Possess highly developed interpersonal skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined timeframes in a fast-paced program environment
Excellent project coordination, problem resolution, and prioritization skills, and able to lead multiple activities simultaneously and address workload issues
Must be able to explain technology concepts and issues in a manner that business stakeholders understand
Experience developing and supporting applications for the Gas Pipeline business area.
Experience of projects execution using Agile SCRUM and KANBAN methodology
