As a key member of the Privacy Office and LCR Team, you will be tasked with assisting the Privacy team to implement, sustain, monitor and improve a comprehensive privacy program in a complex fintech environment and provide high- quality administrative support to the Privacy Office.
The successful candidate will be energetic, professional and possess strong communications skills and an execution mindset and an efficient self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We need a detail minded professional with excellent MS Office skills (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) demonstrated in your ability to create, modify and manage presentations as well as coordinating the preparation, processing, formatting and distribution of staff communications, training materials and other documents.
You are a masterful problem-solver, highly organized, and have exceptional communication skills. You also have an excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Assisting the Privacy Office completion of privacy-related deliverables for new projects, including but not limited to Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), PIA summaries, obtaining risk mitigation sign off, self-assessments, construction of supportive policies & procedures
Interacting with a variety of internal stakeholders, including: project managers, business units, vendor management office and consultants.
Assisting the Privacy Office with day-to-day administrative activities/tasks and deliverables, managing and prioritizing multiple competing priorities and ensuring all runs smoothly.
Your Privacy related tasks include:
updates to privacy policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, and guidelines
monitoring the Privacy Office email inbox
ensuring that timely and appropriate responses to individual-rights-related requests are conducted; and
supporting development of privacy materials & processes.
Proactively managing multiple calendars, meeting requests, coordinating appointments, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Working with internal and external partners and executive assistants to coordinate both virtual and in-person meetings as required, and ensure all materials are prepared and disseminated in advance.
Administrating and reconciling budget approvals and processing expense claims as they relate to meetings
Acting as internal liaison within various other departments within the organization including Security, Data Governance, Technology and Operations, Digital ID, HR, etc. and as an external liaison with Avast and 2 Keys Corporation
Coordinating input for enterprise Privacy updates, LCR meetings, People Leader meetings, and other meetings as appropriate (presentation, media, creative design, etc.).
General legal department duties Providing additional ad-hoc assistance to general Legal Department needs as time permits.
Who are you?
You have a post-secondary degree or equivalent in relevant discipline. Having a recognized privacy designation is a plus.
You have 3-5 years of relevant privacy and administrative experience, including supporting leaders in an administrative capacity, preferably in a technology organization.
Demonstrated and thorough knowledge of the PIPEDA and Bill 64 and Privacy Commissioner Decisions.
Experience in developing operational policies, procedures, best practices and recommendations for compliance with access and/or privacy legislation and programs
Experience in driving and executing compliance programs and are knowledgeable in process management, analysis, operational improvement, and risk management.
Analytical and evaluation skills to investigate requests, complaints and issues and provide recommendations.
You have experience managing and curating various events.
You are a proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude, and a highly effective team player.
You have experience creating and designing presentations, along with the production of visual, sound, and multimedia projects.
You thrive in a collaborative environment while being able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and business matters.
