Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect Job

We are bringing our Salesforce Consulting presence to Canada, and we are looking for a Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect to serve as subject matter expert on Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote projects! You will be responsible for client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management and you will work to understand requirements and enable the authoring/development of quality solutions that meet these requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and product
• Lead technical design sessions which includes creating, estimating, and solutioning user stories and developing technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
• Deliver as an individual contributor, but also hold the ability to lead a team of consultants, developers and/or solution architects
• Demonstrate Salesforce CPQ thought leadership and educate clients on Salesforce platform best practices and ensure adherence across the implementation team
• Provide Salesforce CPQ expertise during sales efforts to estimate the technical level of effort
• Learn and evangelize new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions
• Coach and mentor junior resources
• Own responsibility for ongoing configuration and development of resources on Salesforce projects

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of functional, hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience combined with 3+ years in leading Salesforce CPQ project implementations as a Solution Architect
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional user stories and design scalable best practice solutions using Salesforce CPQ, along with the suite of Salesforce products and 3rd party applications
• Capability to provide level of effort estimates and coordinate prioritization efforts
• Possession of strong communication and interpersonal skills and capacity to manage task assignments for yourself and within teams
• Monitor and drive escalations/issues to resolution
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications
• Ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advanced Approvals, Salesforce Communities, Salesforce Billing, and recommending CPQ solutions
• Functional knowledge of 3rd party applications including:
• Document generation (such as Conga or Drawloop)
• Contract lifecycle management (such as SpringCM)
• Electronic signature software (such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign)
• Experience in Agile or Agile-hybrid methodologies
• Previous experience in administering comprehensive training and documentation to both end-users and CPQ admin users
• Salesforce Certifications such as Community Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer
