Salesforce Solution Architect Job

We are bringing our Salesforce Consulting presence to Canada, and we are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect who is self-driven with a passion for helping organizations solve complex business and technology problems! You will build and deliver intelligent and robust solutions, lead technical requirements sessions, act as a liaison between clients and the project team, lead discovery sessions, and design and document solutions. This role can be based in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary or Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and product
• Lead technical design sessions which includes creating, estimating, and solutioning user stories and developing technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
• Deliver as an individual contributor, but also hold the ability to lead a team of consultants, developers and/or solution architects
• Demonstrate Salesforce thought leadership and educate clients on Salesforce platform best practices and ensure adherence across the implementation team
• Provide Salesforce expertise during sales efforts to estimate the technical level of effort
• Learn and evangelize new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions
• Coach and mentor junior resources
• Own responsibility for ongoing configuration and development of resources on Salesforce projects

Basic Qualifications

• A passion for Salesforce
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in the Salesforce platform including 2+ years as a Salesforce Solution Architect
• Experience across multiple clouds
• Leadership experience and/or capabilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Adept at managing client expectations, leading implementation teams, and maintaining scope according to defined requirements
• Experience in leading customer facing requirements gathering sessions leading to estimated and solution user stories
• Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
• Proficient understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and App Cloud
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant Salesforce certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Data Architecture and Management Designer, Sharing and
• Visibility Designer, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, System Architect, Community Cloud, Platform Developer I
• Functional understanding of deployment tools such as Gearset or Copado/Clickdeploy
• Experience with Pardot, Community Cloud, and/or Einstein
