The Consumer Experience Design team is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the eCommerce customer journey end-to-end. The role will ask the candidate to be the design lead for this part of the business working with design contractors and other designers as we build out the team. Working cross product, platform and function, the candidate will lead the design of a consistent customer experience from product discovery on our websites, and interaction with our shopping cart to the management of the users’ accounts and billing within the product.

This is a remote position based in the United States or Canada. We will only consider candidates in United States or Canada and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the role:
Deliver extraordinary end-to-end e-commerce experiences that bring delight to our 25+ million customers by applying your deep knowledge of UX design (research, ideation, conceptual design, prototyping, user testing)
You will be the first designer on this new team, operating like the founding member allowing to build systems, and processes that work best for the team, as it grows.
You'll work across product management, design, research and engineering teams and 3rd party partners, to align on strategic goals, customer outcomes and business objectives through an agile development process
Facilitate cross-functional design workshops with business, marketing, product management, and engineering, to explore multiple concepts with clear user goals and testable hypotheses
Create user flows, journey maps, interaction patterns, wireframes, storyboards, design specs, prototypes, UI mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Participate in design sprints, stand-ups, sprint planning, and lean product testing
Measure and present actual UX outcomes using qualitative and quantitative methods
Champion a mobile-first design strategy to deliver responsive, consistent, and seamless experiences across all digital devices
Partner with product managers to scope UX projects for efficient delivery while maintaining high standards for design
Mentor and onboard junior product designers and contribute to the process improvements for the team
You have been driving Product/UX designs for large-scale digital products for leading brands for 3+ years.
You have a stunning portfolio that displays a spectrum of creative design solutions from concept to launch for consumer products
You have current skills in multiple areas of UX design including research, interaction, and visual
You have experience building clean design artifacts including user flows, journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, specifications, and documentation
You have experience with lean experimentation and test and learn (T&L) methodologies
Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Should be comfortable working in a very dynamic and collaborative work environment across time zones and geographies.
Solid understanding of data-driven design activities, such as storyboarding and experience models, solid experience using these strategies to create high-quality designs
Mastery of standard professional tools (Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite and Invision)Proven ability to create mock-ups and produce multiple iterations efficiently and proficiency in interactive prototyping.
Good knowledge of agile software development processes.
