The Talent Acquisition Partner will play a strategic role in selecting and attracting the best talent to meet the functional and strategic needs of the organization in Canada. This position will be responsible for recruiting mandates for hourly and salaried positions. They will accompany managers through the entire recruitment cycle, acting as an internal expert in talent attraction and selection and as an ambassador of our employer brand to candidates.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruiting cycle for assigned requisitions and define the related recruiting strategies
  • Use a variety of methods to search for candidates, such as the use of social networks, networking, database searches, and direct sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Work closely with Human Resources Business Partners and play a Partner role with hiring managers to understand their short- and long-term talent needs and build talent search strategies that meet those needs
  • As a contact person and internal expert in talent acquisition, train and coach hiring managers on recruitment and the candidate experience
  • Provide an unparalleled candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process
  • Represent the company and participate in recruitment and networking activities to increase awareness of the employer brand in Canada
  • Contribute to talent management strategies in universities through the development/execution of programs such as internships; develop lasting relationships with universities and promote the employer brand at university events
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and tools related to talent acquisition and stay abreast of recruitment best practices, trends, and market and industry activities
  • Manage the candidate pipelines and generate long-term interest by building relationships with them and providing them with a positive and conclusive experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Human Resources, Marketing or a related field  and or a minimum of four (4) years of relevant recruiting experience in an agency and/or corporate environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (fluency in French and English, both written and spoken)
  • Command of technological tools used in the recruitment process (ATS, Boolean searches. LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Social media, Office Suite, etc.);
  • Must be bilingual in French and English

  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to advise and influence stakeholders from various management level
  • Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
  • Strong interest in proactive talent sourcing and networking; proven sourcing skills
  • Initiative and creativity in recruiting techniques and strategies
  • Keen eye on continuous improvement and the ability to add value to the overall Talent Acquisition process
  • Approach focused on people and the candidates’ and internal clients’ experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment in a dynamic, fast-paced industry
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Business acumen; up to date on market and industry activities
  • Highly driven by results and performance indicators
  • Ability to be an excellent ambassador for the company
