Job Description
The Registered Plans Department is responsible for the legislative information and interpretation for registered plans. Processing daily processing flow and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Processes all Registered plan requests received from our branches on a daily basis
- Provide clients / middle offices with product info as well as RSP, RIF, TFSA and Locked-in plan legislative rules and RESP
- Mentor and provide guidance on processes and procedures
- Contribute to the maintenance of service and quality standards
- Process daily workflow i.e. Contributions, Withdrawals, RESP transfers in and out
- Liaise with the branches to provide support in answering queries from clients and problem solving.
- Processes all Registered plan requests received from our clients on a daily basis
- RRIF LIF system payment set up
- Reconcile and balance suspense accounts / RRSP daily cash trustee settlements
Qualifications:
- 1- 2 years industry experience would be an asset
- Community college diploma or equivalent work experience
- Industry related courses
- Dataphile experience an asset
- Microsoft excel
