As a Senior Marketing Advisor, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end marketing strategies to support the objectives of business units across the organization. This includes leading the planning, development, execution, evaluation, and refinement of marketing communications campaigns/ initiatives that reach both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer audiences. You will also mentor and guide an Advisor on the team with their campaigns/initiatives as needed.

Apply strategic thought leadership in the planning, development, and execution of marketing communications strategies to support new, overarching, and strategic programs/projects. Involves working collaboratively with key internal and external partners to understand business objectives, target audiences, key barriers, customer journey and gaps in information.
Lead coordinated marketing campaigns that reflect the customer journey to optimize performance while ensuring a consistent brand and customer experience.
Leverage market research findings and identify research requirements to fill information gaps, to gain valuable insights associated with target consumer’s needs, values, preferences, trends, etc. to support campaigns/programs.
Work with the Business Intelligence team to understand/translate customer data into meaningful insights that can be used to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
Identify key performance indicators to measure and evaluate campaigns/initiatives, and actively track results to optimize overall performance and help craft future marketing strategies.
Mentor and guide a Marketing Advisor on the team in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including, planning and execution of communications tactics, results tracking and evaluation/refinement.
Manage the annual marketing budget for assigned programs.
Build and maintain good working relations with key partners (internal clients, creative agency, brand, and communications team, etc.), to enable effective collaboration and delivery of marketing strategies.
Minimum college level education in Communications, Marketing, or related program. University education is preferred.
A minimum of 6 to 10 years’ progressive experience in a marketing communications capacity with Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer experience.
Experience in crafting targeted marketing communications programs, solutions and services reaching Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer audiences.
Agency management experience.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Strong collaborative/team skills and experience working with multiple partners.
Strong business insight, with ability to analyze customer data to draw insights and inform decisions.
Post-secondary business/marketing education preferred.
Additional marketing or digital related education and experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience in digital platforms, social media and content management preferred.
Knowledge of energy industry including energy efficiency measures/technologies/programs.
Strong knowledge of Enbridge Gas Inc. energy conservation programs and DSM framework an asset.
Additional business/marketing education and experience preferred.

Travel required (approximately 10% of time), Most travel is within Ontario.
