Job Description

We are seeking an Advisor, New Energy Technology (‘NET’) who will be responsible for supporting the Manager NET in the implementation of Enbridge’s Clean Energy Hub strategy in association with other Enbridge Business Units (BUs).  The Advisor will also assist the Manager in development of NET led, low carbon hub investment opportunities.

What You Will Do:

Contribute towards identifying potential clean energy hub opportunities, based on clean hydrogen, carbon capture & sequestration, and renewable natural gas, with potential integration of renewable power in key markets in the US and Canada

Coordinate along with Manager, NET and relevant Enbridge BUs in advancing Enbridge’s Clean Energy Hub strategy by undertaking assigned task related to the development of identified Hub opportunities. Task may include various elements related to the identification & development of Hub opportunities and assisting with Hub development.

Support the Manager, NET and assistance to the Director, Commercial Affairs in the origination and development of NET-led Clean Energy Projects, including specific task related to:

  • Assisting with all elements of NET-led opportunity development, including due diligence and economic analysis

  • Arranging internal & partner meetings

  • Preparing materials to secure relevant approvals

Provide analytics, market research, competitor analysis and general support to NET team in connection with:

  • The New Energy Strategy

  • Market intelligence, specifically relating to clean hydrogen, CCUS and RNG

  • North America and global low-carbon energy fundamentals

Who You Are:

  • You possess a related degree(s) in Economics, Business or equivalent field

  • Associated certification will be considered as an asset, e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA

  • 4-5 years’ experience of progressively increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong written verbal and communications skills, including experience with preparation of presentation materials and economic analysis

  • Outstanding technical, analytical, financial capabilities and business acumen

  • Clean Energy Industry experience an asset (low carbon energy, commercial models, peer companies, financial markets)

  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead and manage large scale change amid shifting priorities.
