Do you have strong leadership and management skills with an understanding of pipeline operations and pipeline scheduling?

As the Supervisor Mainline Oil Accounting you will be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day oil accounting functions for the enterprise’s liquids system.

What you will do:

  • Develop and ensure adherence to appropriate financial controls and related processes governing all oil accounting functions, e.g. revenue invoicing, shipper balance statements, carrier’s inventory calculation, oil loss calculation, internal financial reporting requirements, and SOx controls etc.

  • Review and provide feedback on draft and final transportation service agreements (TSAs) and storage and terminaling agreements.

  • Subject matter expert (SME) at various industry/customer meetings and negotiating agreements to develop, amend and implement new processes, procedures and other customer-centric services.

  • Provide input into long term business plans and budgets.

  • Lead or assist with studies of continuous improvement of the enterprise’s OA systems and processes

  • coaching/mentoring/motivating a small team in the fulfillment of their responsibilities.

  • Oversee the resourcing, assignment and evaluation of all assigned internal resources to ensure the quality, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of work associated with their assigned responsibilities.  Provide opportunities for cross functional development through secondment of project staff into and out of the department.

Who you are:

  • Related University degree or diploma.

  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of directly related experience or equivalent.

  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication stills, e.g., supervision, translate concepts for junior staff and customers, resolve problems, negotiate amendments.

  • Expertise in related office software, company databases, company structure and standard operating procedures.
