Team & Job Overview
The Export Development Canada (EDC) Special Risks Team is responsible for managing all recovery efforts on impaired loans and guarantees in EDC's Corporate and Canada Account lending portfolios. The team’s responsibilities include the management of out-of-court workouts, bankruptcies, restructurings, and asset liquidations. The team is regularly consulted by EDC’s various financing teams.
Reporting to the Director of Special Risks – Loan Guarantees, he/she will primarily be focused on the management of claims under our EDC’s guarantee programs, in particular the Export Guarantee Program (EGP), Trade Expansion Lending Program (TELP), and Business Credit Availability Program (BCAP) and will also provide support on a consultative basis to EDC’s guarantee team(s). We are looking for a motivated and seasoned professional with experience in lending and/or special loans.
