What You’ll Do

  • Convert the given business requirements into APIs and develop services following a micro-services based architecture
  • Willingness to learn new things, doing research, analysis, demonstrating the same using POCs, and providing alternative solutions for a given problem
  • Completing Sprint tasks and helps the team in achieving Sprint and Short term goals in a timely and quality manner by writing high-quality code, unit tests, and automated integration tests
  • Actively participate in Code reviews and Team discussions and share his thoughts wherever feasible
  • Possesses Good Interpersonal Skills, comfortable in interacting with other streams, and doing integrated development with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • Experience developing APIs using Java (Preferably JDK8+), SpringBoot, REST, and Hands-on exposure to microservice architecture
  • Must have experience and understanding of any messaging Protocols technologies like Kafka, MQ. Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns will be a plus
  • Must have a strong understanding of OOPS Concept, Design patterns, and Clean Code practices
  • Must have Experienced with NoSQL databases (Preferably Casandra) or at least a good understanding of NoSQL concepts
  • Must have Familiarity with any of the RDBMS Oracle, SQLServer
  • Must be comfortable in using Git, Maven and a good understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts
  • Must have Familiarity with Test-driven development and should be comfortable in writing unit tests using Junit/TestNG, Mockito, Powermock, or any related framework
  • Agile learner and processes good interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • Nice to have familiar with using tools like Swagger for documentation and Postman for DEV testing
  • Nice to have Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and working knowledge of any cloud platform (Preferably Azure)
  • Experience in financial domains (ETFs) will be a plus
  • Exposure to writing integration test with cucumber will be plus
  • Exposure to gRPC will be a big plus
