If you’re a skilled marketer, a creative team player and someone who believes it’s essential to understand your market’s problems before putting pen to paper, this role may be for you. The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to our VP, Marketing and will be responsible for further developing and driving our product marketing strategy. The newly created role will execute activities from building messaging and campaigns, testing value-added sales models, and owning sales enablement. You will be the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Identify & Solve Market Problems - It's What You'll Do

Market Intelligence and Definition  – You’ll deeply understand the competitive landscape and be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. You’ll document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind their decisions. Then you’ll drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.

Develop Marketing Plans and Product Launches  – You’ll collaborate with the Product team to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our buyer personas. You’ll support retention and sales by creating budgets and plans that ensure value propositions reach and resonate with buyers. Use your analytical skills to set goals, review results, assess the effectiveness of our marketing plans and drive continuous improvement. You will plan well thought out and creative product launches using strong project management skills and is the primary internal thought leader regarding our buyers.

Provide Training and Field-level Sales Support  – You will ensure that our sales tools, practices and procedures are best in class. Collaborate with the Marketing team to create effective sales enablement tools. Understand and support our sales channels, continuously provide knowledge around the problems we solve for our buyers and users, develop internal tools and external collateral and teach our sales channels how and when to use them. It is up to you to understand the market’s preferences for how to buy, receive and use offerings.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • A positive attitude results-oriented mindset and hunger to learn (a love of tacos also considered an asset)
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline(s) or combination of education and experience
  • You have 5+ years of marketing or product experience with at least two years in Product Marketing
  • You have B2B and/or SaaS experience and you are familiar with client service centre operations
  • You have copywriting chops and are familiar with writing for SEO
  • Strong analytical skills: you're comfortable with data analysis and know the value of measuring performance through metrics and KPIs
  • An eye for great design, UI and UX
