Reports to Senior Manager, Software Development
Purpose of the Role The primary function of the role is to establish and adhere to standardized methods for enhancement requests to the IT department, requirements analysis of the business needs, and contribute to the work prioritization process. This role will be the main point of contact for business units for Oracle Commerce Cloud platform. A Platform Specialist will facilitate the Agile processes, escalates impediments, manage risk, and help to drive continuous improvements at the project level. He/She will guide Agile teams through key ceremonies such as daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospectives and demonstrations. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring that sprints are on time and that the teams are ready for their deadlines. He/She will be responsible for the timely release of the project to production and facilitate post-production support.
