Conducting product-related research and impact assessments to provide insights, and recommendations to identify opportunity areas for improvements
Actively participating in onboarding/offboarding of RTR participants
Managing and documenting product and procedure related documentation for the RTR
Assisting the RTR Product Director with market sensing and identification of global trends in real time payments
Tracking bi-weekly and monthly product performance
Performing an analysis on SLA trends and sharing findings and recommendations with RTR Product Director and AVP RTR
Answering functional/design questions coming from internal/external stakeholders about RTR Exchange as well as providing functional inputs for future releases/enhancements
Reviewing Payments Canada’s policy documents and performing analysis to inform product impact
Conceptualizing and driving improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Supporting RTR Exchange Roadmap development through a deep understanding of business objectives, knowledge of client requirements, and market research
Supporting the management, maintenance, and update of the Service Catalogue
Maintaining status reports of product enhancement initiatives and product backlog
Addressing reporting gaps/discrepancies while engaging relevant stakeholders
Documenting detailed technology requirements based on the client’s functional requirements
Collaborating with Technology, DevOps, and Architecture teams to execute Technical Build projects
Supporting Product Functions including Product Analytics, Roadmap Development, Service Catalogue Management, Market Research, and Payments Canada’s Policy Reviews
Who are you?
A Bachelor’s degree in business/science/technology or an MBA
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management or related function
Knowledge of Payments and/or Real Time payments
Ability to analyze product performance metrics to create detailed reports
Ability to develop and monitor initiatives involving cross-functional teams
Ability to deliver presentations and gain stakeholder buy-in
Ability to deliver in accordance with User Stories, Process Maps, Use Case specifications, Data Requirements, Business Rules, and Mock-Ups
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Working competency in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deal at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down problems into logical pieces.
Ability to navigate through conflicting priorities, turning ambiguity into clarity in a fast-changing environment.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the capability to drive integration and build solid organizational relationships.
Experience using data to inform decisions without succumbing to analysis paralysis
