Reporting to the Director, Data Delivery, you will be accountable for driving EDC’s data modernization strategy by providing the technical leadership for the data initiatives in support of EDC’s transformation. You will be accountable to provide technical expertise to lead the execution of deliverables by coordinating the design and implementation activities of the squad and lines of business partners. You will work with the product owner to ensure the adoption of outcomes and transition to sustainability
Key Responsibilities
- With the Product Owner, planning and designing data releases that will provide immediate business value.
- Support the delivery of outcomes by providing technical design, expertise & knowledge and support team with implementation of outcomes
- Participate in architecture work sessions, ensure architecture compliance of designs
- Execute on deliverables by leveraging Agile Methodology
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure the alignment to the DevOps framework
- Contribute to data transformation initiatives such as MDM and the Data Platform
- Collaborate with Line of Business SME’s to ensure designs, data flows and integration are well established, adopted and sustainable
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs meet data governance & data quality standards
- Contribute to the data strategy with input on feasibility and execution approach to achieve outcomes
- Remove technical obstacles and facilitate technical issue resolution within the team
- Work with Product Owners and associated initiative leads to identify and monitor dependencies
- Apply an innovation mindset to design and build prototypes to demonstrate the art of the possible
Screening Criteria
- Completed an undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration
- Minimum 7 years in a technical role in data and analytics projects, data flow design and data integration experience
- Experience with Master Data Management Projects
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile principles and the Scrum Framework

Salary Range
- $89,000 – $133,600, plus performance-based incentive
