Job Description

This role is responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts across LifeLabs to design and implement a best-in-class experience for our clients, front line colleagues, and health care providers. Championing customer-driven solutions, aligning priority initiatives and making critical commercial decisions that guide the marketing, business, operations, and IT teams in making our products successful. 

Core Accountabilities 

Product Development and Management

  • Strong knowledge and experience in product management, strategic planning, and project management to identify and manage and evolve the product roadmap through to successful execution
  • Identify and deliver innovative and market leading concepts and features for new and existing geographies and customer segments

Customer Lifecycle and Market Focus

  • Manage complete product lifecycle, including market requirements, product release plans, user story and success criteria authoring, and product launch activities
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners, heath care and ecosystem providers and customers to validate requirements and priorities and refine requirements for the broad market

Drive Product Opportunities and Outcomes

  • Support channel, B2B and marketing partners through enhancing or identifying product opportunities and new feature development to enable revenue generation 

Minimum Hiring Requirements

  • University or equivalent certification in business, engineering, science, or marketing 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in hands-on product and service development working with both modern and legacy technology 
  • PMP, Agile, Process Management certifications would be an asset but not mandatory
  • Project management, process management, and vendor relationship management experience 
  • Robust organizational skills with track record of working cross-functionally while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Depth of expertise in product with strong understanding of business lines with significant product management in high-growth portfolios 
  • Using the latest technology advancements and partner relationships to improve outcomes in reliability, performance, economics, and customer experience
  • Capture customer requirements, conceptualize solutions, plan product and associated launch and go-to-market activities 
  • Drive strategic initiatives within the product portfolio, integration opportunities as well as product rationalization recommendations
