Indore-based B2B e-commerce startup ShopKirana has raised $2 million (~13.40 crore INR) from Info Edge. The startup was setup by Deepak Dhanotiya, Sumit Ghorawat and Tanutejas Saraswat in 2015 and helps brands to connect with traditional retailers by leveraging supply chain innovation and provides go-to-market channel for products and services.
The company has said that they will use the capital to expand their operations to 10 more Indian cities in the coming year, targeting 10,0000 retailers.
ShopKirana provides a convenient B2B platform for retailers product ordering, easy delivery and safe payment processing cutting out the middleman and also connecting the brands directly with retailers. As per the company they are serving more than 9 million retailers.
In previous rounds ShopKirana had raised capital from Better Capital AngelList syndicat, Akatsuki Entertainment Technology Fund (AET Fund) and Incubate Fund.
